Magazine Review Progression Final Draft

Magazine Review Progression

 I am using Adobe InDesign to create my magazine review for Little White Lies.

 

I measured the sixe of the Little White Lies magazine so my page would be the correct height and width.

I used correct measurements and added guidelines for my columns.

I placed the image that my target audience preferred. (see previous posts)

I then added the article I had written

I added the common feature from Little White Lies at the end of the article rating the anticipation, enjoyment and in retrospect.

I have taken still images from my film to use in my magazine review. Here are my options.

I have chosen the above scenes to portray the darkness and intensity of my short film.

I will create a survey for my target audience to find out which image is most effective.

Unfortunately, I have not kept continuity. As the scene starting at around 4:20 Matthew is seen wearing a different shirt in the medium close ups from the close ups.
After editing this, myself and the actors had no spare time to film the scene again due to school and work life.

I created my own logo for my production company

I added social media logos to encourage my audience to search my film and promote it

Overall, my target audience preferred the white background as the image seemed more crisp and was more eye catching with the bright background instead of the dark background.

I added a slogan as this is a common feature used for films to draw in the audience.

I added the logos of where my film is being published and what festivals it has been involved in. This will draw in a particular audience interested in these particular companies.

I took the best image and placed it onto my poster on Photoshop.

I have the options of a black or white background and they create different effects for the film.

I edited the colour and background of the images chosen from my target audience which could be used on my poster

My photos turned out very yellow toned so I will be editing my chosen image for my poster
